From Educator to ASCAP Foundation Award Winning Songwriter,

R&B and Pop artist Diandra Ailene made the daring decision to go from college graduate to music artist and content creator.   With her soulful, powerful vocals and lyrics that captivate mass audiences, Diandra's ability to light up a room landed her in the position to work with some of the industry's top producers and songwriters artists. Some of which include the late Grammy Award Winning Songwriter Producer, Mentor and Friend Andrea Martin.

West Philadelphia native Diandra Ailene Gore, began her interest in music at a very young age. From singing on children's choirs in elementary school to tap dancing across the Academy of Music stage, she would soon fall in love with performing.  In 2006, when she was 14 years old, Diandra landed her first gig as an assistant dance instructor. Little did she know this gig would give her the confidence and experience to become a leader in the dance community. In 2010 she was accepted to Neumann University to study Early Childhood Education. Although fun at first, Diandra would find herself writing songs when she was supposed to be listening to lectures. In 2013 she boldly changed her major to Communication Media Arts in hopes of becoming closer to the entertainment industry. She began posting YouTube videos to promote herself singing as motivation to push harder towards her dream.  Two weeks before walking across the stage at her graduation in 2015, Diandra flew solo to Los Angeles for the first time to attend ASCAP “I Create Music Expo”. This tremendous networking event landed her in the position to network with major label representatives, songwriters, producer, musicians from all over the world.  Later that summer she attended the Los Angeles College of Music summer intensive program which stamped the official start of her professional songwriting career.

August 2017, Diandra Ailene dropped her introspective   Debut EP properly titled  Dear Self: Confessions of A Pisces which gave an in-depth look at the way she viewed her place in the world.  A month after releasing her project she was accepted into ASCAP’s songwriting workshop / competition. This gave her the opportunity to meet her mentor Arden Altino & songwriting idol Andrea Martin. Over the course of the year Diandra would be mentored by Andrea and would write numerous songs including “The Box If Cereal” The Remix - coming soon!

In March 2020, the world as she knew it would change forever. With the pandemic at an all time high, Diandra decided to write her feel good record “The Last Box of Cereal”. The song's original intention was to bring hope to people in her community. She wanted to release it on Juneteenth as a way of celebration, but little did she know, there would be a death that would catapult  the conversation about Black Lives. What started as light hearted montra “We Will Be alright”  she quickly realized it a statement for a people constantly fighting.

That Fall, Diandra released her sensual single “3 Rounds” which tells the story of a woman who knows what she wants. Lyrically and sonically Diandra explores the juxtaposition of the submissive and the dominant roles we play in our lives and with our partners.  In July 2021, she speaks her own language on confidence and being unapologetically her in her latest single "Set The World On Fire". Even though Diandra is a newer artist, she is ready to set the world on fire with unique melody, style and lyrics.

Currently Diandra Ailene is performing on multiple platforms and stages around the city and gearing up for the release of EP “Every Girl Goes Back & Forth” coming Fall 2023!
